About Me
“Near Enough Is Not Good Enough”
Frank Hurley, 1912
Being the son of a photographer has its perks - I know how a camera works and what equipment to use. However, my father has distilled within me that when I am capturing an image, whether a photo or a video, it is more than only knowing the technical - it is recognising what to capture.
As a born and bred Sydney-sider, I have an unquenchable passion for creating video content and visual media. When I am working on my next project, I am always looking at how to one-up my last project. To this, I resonate with the historic words of Australian photographer Frank Hurley: near enough is not good enough.
My skill is curiosity, constantly considering how to better the work that I am so profoundly passionate dedicated to.
In my brief time, I have been fortunate with the opportunity to work within multiple facets of the film and media industry. As early as the age of fifteen, I worked as an Assistant Photographer with my father at Speed Media Image Agency. My time as an Assistant bloomed an enthusiasm for digital imagery - realising it as a format to express my vision.
Today, I have worked as a Media Photographer, Videographer, Lighting Assistant, Editor, and Studio Operator - eager to find the next project.
